OVERVIEW OF COACH DEVELOPMENT

The instruction for the coach in TSD is simplistic and one that is easily understood.  The Phases of the 10 Principles guided the coach down a Pathway, a Roadmap, that will develop him/her in every area of the game. With the 10 Principles the coach can hone his/her skills and understanding of the game with support from TSD on the field, in the classroom and virtually to better their ability assist children to become the best version of themselves by meeting them where they are on their curve to development [Don’t only take it from us, hear what other coaches had to say]. ANALYSIS

  • Youth coaches will have the opportunity to videotape their training sessions for analysis by TSD Staff Personnel.  Depending on the package purchased and the Phase that the youth coach is participating in will determine the focus of the Video Calls. 

    This is a critical opportunity for the youth coach to see him/herself in a training environment to be evaluated and assisted in understanding and executing any of the 10 Principles.  The separation of TSD from all other programs is that we return to continue to help the coach improve his or her instruction of youth players

  • Depending on the age of the team, 7 v 7 through 11 v 11, the number of players that will be required to participate in a Team Video Match Analysis will be dictated from the TSD Founders and published in the pricing package.

    This option will allow the TSD Staff Coach to review players’ performance in a Match in the particular Phase or Principle being executed by players. This is also a valuable teaching tool as multiple players can see their performance and be evaluated so that their play improves.

    Video Analysis after attending In-Person programming is the most effective use of the programming.
