Currently, Thornton is a business owner and neuro-psychotherapist who takes an integrative and holistic approach to healing. She works with the whole person, rather than just a set of symptoms.

Thornton works with individuals of all ages and helps to facilitate change for those who would like to have the stresses or large events of the past not have power and control over them in the present. She and her practice works to empower people to feel more grounded in the present and hopeful about the future.

Thornton  specializes in EMDR and helping people work through stress and trauma based issues. She helps train and teach others to practice EMDR and has a special interest in working with athletes and other high level performers to reshape their relationships with stress to work better with their own neurobiology.
