Building a “Mental Toolbox”

We believe caring for and training our players to have strong mental toolboxes prepares them for games and for life of the pitch. Our mental fitness program is a 7-week program that teaches players habits to maintain a healthy mental attitude, face challenges, and set achievable goals.

Week 1: Beliefs “What do I believe my strengths are? What is important to me?”

Week 2: Resilience “How can I overcome challenges, both on and off the pitch?”

Week 2: Impact “How can I make an impact for my team and in my community?”

Week 3: Habits “What habits do I have that are positive? How can I change negative habits? What habits do I need to make?”

Week 4: Affirmations “What can I fall back on when things get hard? Who am I?”

Week 5: SMART Goal Setting “I can set achievable goals and make steps to reach them.”

Week 6: Performance Evaluations
